Adult Training
Preparation:
New students are welcome with all levels of fitness and no additional pre-training preparation is needed. A common misconception of Thai Boxing is that you need to be fit before you start: while it would help, we encourage you to get your fitness in training.
We recommend on the days you intend to train that you hydrate yourself properly during the day and refrain from eating no later than two hours before the class commences. This ensures maximum energy and fat burn during the class.
What you’ll need:
For your first couple of lessons all you’ll need is comfortable training clothes. If you are training on a regular basis you’ll have to buy your own training and sparring gear, available for purchase from the club.
Class Structure:
Classes are designed to suit all levels of fitness and consist of a warm-up, shadow-boxing, partner drills, pad work and circuits. For beginners the first few classes will be spent with an instructor learning the basics of Thai Boxing and once you’ve attained a certain level of skill you’ll be able to participate with the rest of the class.
Contrary to common believe you don't have to be a fighter to train in the gym, 95% of adults training are only doing so purely for fitness.
